This is only 1 island. Lauratopia is a multitude of islands. The map above is just for the largest island. The population of it is 9,173 people, not including the animals. With the animals, the population would be 13,162. The main Lauratopian island is 204 miles sq.
The national gem is a diamond.
The natural resources in Lauratopia are gold, silver, copper and platinum. Oh yeah, and chocolate.
Our motto is "Life is the Bubbles!"
My only seaport/harbor is The Seaport Harbor.
My mountains are called the Rok Mountains.
I have a Chocolate River. It runs through the whole country. When it enters the ocean, there is a chocolate filterization center so the chocolate doesn't run into the ocean. You can also go up to it and have some chocolate.
I have a volcano in my country called Mt. L.
We have no farmland in Lauratopia, so we get our food from different Greek Gods.
We export chocolate, gold, silver, platinum, copper, pottery, and bubbles. We get our bubbles from Bubbleland. That's where I live, along with my pet dolphin, Jelly, and my border collie, Shyanne.
We import a lot of our things, like bricks for the houses and glass for the windows.
Some major occupations in Lauratopia are
making the chocolate into chocolate bars
(at the chocolate filterization center)
and making pottery to sell
to both Lauratopia and the rest of the world
and making bubbles.
There is a creature in Lauratopia
called an Arual. (Laura back words)
There is also a Loch Ness Monster in Lauratopia. He is quite friendly once you get to know him.
We also have a group of protected jackalopes.
Thumper is our mascot. As he always says, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all!"
Here is the Lost Lagoon.
Here is my house in Bubble Land. Shyanne, the border collie is there along with Jelly, the dolphin. My underwater car is also there. I love living under the sea. The only problem is all the salt water. BLEH!!!
As I said earlier, I have an Underwater Car. It travels very fast underwater because it is bubble powered, just like most cars. Abovewater however, this specific bubble car doesn't work. This car is powered by SALTwater bubbles. They aren't compatabile with the air. Most people that live underwater don't go up to the surface very often, so it doesn't matter what kind of car they drive. Underwater cars come in all shapes, sizes, and of course color.
We also have hotels underwater. They have a great view of the ocean and creatures from the safety and comfort of your hotel room. It is great. You don't even get wet. And if your lucky, you might even get to see a whale!
My winter home is on the beach, but it isn't underwater. It can get cold in the winter underwater. It floats on the surface of the water.
I almost forgot! My favorite place to eat in all of Lauratopia is the underwater Shark Diner. It is called so because there are always sharks within view of it. The food always tastes good and it doesn't cost too much!
(There is a shark by the diner at this time, it was just on the wrong side of the picture.)
We have many giant tortoises too.
They're very nice to most people, but sometimes they just can't take each other anymore.
Lauratopia has so many wonderful animals to offer. The list could continue forever, so here are a few.
Another way to get around Lauratopia is on animals. If you are underwater, you ride a dolphin. If not, then you ride horses or giant Ladybugs. So I have many different ways of transportation.
There are many herds of wild horses around Lauratopia.
There are many different animals in Lauratopia that you can have as a pet. Almost everyone though has at least one border collie, one chipmunk, one bunny, and/or one horse.
